Dear Bash Friends,

Thank you for generously supporting Easter Seals' The Bash – A Halloween Happening, chaired by the event founders, Newie and Dr. Mark Brinker. As you know, we will not be holding The Bash this year so we wanted to share some of the successes your generosity made possible. In addition to being a fantastic party, The Bash raised more than $1.5 million dollars for the Cerebral Palsy fund at Easter Seals Houston. Every dollar raised stayed in Houston to help some of the 10,000 families who receive services from us each year. With these funds, Easter Seals Houston has been able to provide therapy, camps, case management, housing assistance, counseling, job support and more.

This would not have been possible without the Brinker's and community supporters like you, and for that we are forever grateful! You have made a huge impact on thousands of children and adults with disabilities living in the Houston community. You are a part of our clients' success. We hope to continue our partnership with you.
This year only, the "Leather and Laces" Super Bowl group is focusing on Harvey relief efforts and has chosen Easter Seals as their charity beneficiary to help raise funds for our clients and families that were impacted by the hurricane through their Vampires and Vixens Ball. We would love for you to join us at this Halloween ball on Saturday, October 28 at Silver Street Studios. A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit Easter Seals. Mark and Newie never like the spotlight to be on them. But we want to take this opportunity to thank them for their incredible generosity – not only did they found and chair the event, but they have been long time financial supporters and volunteers for Easter Seals. Having supporters who give of their time, money and talent makes the work of non-profits possible. They have been quietly helping us give Houstonians with disabilities help, hope and answers.

Thank you again for everything - you have changed the lives of many and made memories that will last a lifetime!

We hope to stay in touch.

Best,

Elise Hough, CEO
