Founded in Houston in 1947, Easter Seals Greater Houston Inc. provides a wide variety of needed services to individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and to their families in the six counties surrounding the Houston area.

Originally called the Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center, the organization was founded to provide services to individuals with disabilities living in Houston and Harris County. In 2011, the organization changed its name to Easter Seals Greater Houston, Inc. and greatly expanded and reorganized its services to meet the needs of its clientele.

Today, all funds raised in the greater Houston community stay here through the organization's nine outstanding service programs: Adult Activity Program, Camps, Caroline School, Counseling and Case Management, ECI/Infant Development, Housing Initiative, Children’s Therapy, High School/High Tech, Respite Services, Toy/Tech, and Assistive Technology Lab to children and adults with all types of disabilities and to their families.

Easter Seals Greater Houston serves more than 5,500 families each year and is the only local agency serving people of ALL ages with ALL types of disabilities regardless of their ability to pay.  Over 65% of clients served have household incomes below the poverty line.  Thank you for your support in helping us to serve them!
