Founded in Houston in 1947, United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Houston, Inc. provide a variety of needed services to individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and their families in the six counties surrounding the Houston area.
Originally called the Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center, the organization was founded to provide services to individuals with disabilities living in Houston and Harris County. In 1989, the organization changed its name to United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Houston, Inc. and greatly expanded and reorganized its services to meet the needs of its clientele.
Today, the organization provides eight outstanding service programs; Adult Activity Program, Camps, Counseling and Case Management, ECI/Infant Development, Housing Initiative, Children's Therapy, High School/High Tech, Respite Services and Toy/Tech, Assistive Technology Lab to children and adults with all types of disabilities and to their families.
